1954
With the lease of Hotel Europa in the city of Mar del Plata, the story of our hotel chain begins.
1958
With the sale of Hotel Europa’s goodwill, we acquire Hotel Iruña with 43 rooms.
1960
Hotel Iruña is enlarged and the common areas of the property are restyled.
1978
After acquiring the land adjoining Hotel Iruña, we build our second property: Hotel Presidente.
1990
We acquire Hotel del Comahue, an icon of the capital of Neuquén.
1995
Costa Galana Hotel in Mar del Plata, the first luxury hotel in the country, is inaugurated.
1997
Opening of our fourth property in the city of Mar del Plata and the first managed property of our chain: Riviera Hotel.
2013
With the opening of FLAAT del Polo and FLAAT Basavilbaso, we launch a new accommodation project: FLAAT Apartments.
2014
We open Hotel Comahue Business in the city of Neuquén.
2016
Opening of FLAAT Recoleta Plaza.
2017
New city, new hotel and… new brand! Opening of Hotel Brizo Salta
2018
We arrive in Santa Rosa, La Pampa, and open our first hotel under the UNIT brand. In Buenos Aires, we open Grand Brizo Buenos Aires.
2019
We arrive in La Plata with the opening of Grand Brizo La Plata.
2024
We reinvent ourselves with an innovative concept in a classic of Recoleta. Hotel Grand Brizo Bel Air, the new home in Buenos Aires.
The iconic Hotel Comahue, a symbol of Patagonia with over 50 years of experience, is now called Grand Brizo Comahue, after a categorization process that places it in the category of superior four-star hotels, alongside other outstanding ones such as Grand Brizo Buenos Aires, Grand Brizo Bel Air, and Grand Brizo La Plata.
The Hotel Comahue Business has been elevated to the Brizo 4-star category, taking on the name Brizo Neuquén, with a specialized focus on the corporate segment.
2025
Incorporation of Los Cauquenes Resort + Spa + Experiences, located in the city of Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego. Situated on the coast of the Beagle Channel, with panoramic views of the majestic Andes Mountains.
